Michael is pleased to Announce that his image Quohogs II has been awarded First Prize for Black & White Photography at the South Shore Art's Center 52nd Annual Arts Festival by Jurors Christopher Chippendale, Artist & Faculty of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts & MassArt, Shannon McDonald, Director of the Panopticon, Gallery Boston and Michael Price, Director of the MPG Contemporary Gallery Boston. The Arts Festival will be held on Cohasset Common June 15th until June 17th. |

10th Annual National Prize Show Michael is pleased to announce that he has been accepted to the prestigious 10th Annual National Prize Show by Juror Dr. Thomas W. Lentz, Elizabeth & John Moors Cabot Director of the Harvard University Art Museums. The exhibition will be held at the Cambridge Art Association"s Kathryn Schultz & University Place Galleries , Cambridge MA. The show runs from May 4th until June 20th. The Opening reception will be held on May 10th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm |

Michael's image "Sippican" has been accepted into the Open Juried Photography Exhibit at Gallery 297 in Bristol, Rhode Island. The juror for the exhibit was Zoey Stites, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Rhode Island. The exhibit is on display from Sept. 19th to Oct. 13th. |

The Creative Arts Center in Chatham has accepted two of Michael's photographs into the Open Juried All Media "Colors of Fall" Exhibition. The image "Tranquil Cove" has been awarded Second Place in the exhibit which runs 9/10 to 10/1 at the Creative Arts Center, Chatham, MA. |

9/6/06 Michael Neelon received the Award of Merit from the "Photography Now" National Exhibition juried by renowned photographer Mr. Henry Hornstein at the South Shore Arts Center. Michael's black & white sepia toned print "Quohog Trees" was chosen from over 1000 images submitted, from over 40 states of which 86 images were chosen for the exhibit. The "Photography Now" exhibit runs from 9/8 to 10/22 at the South Shore Arts Center, Cohasset, MA. |
