I have spent my career as an artist, dividing my time between Commercial Architectural Photography and Fine Art Photography. This website, which is currently being changed and revised, contains my new Floral series as well as some of my Black & White work. My color Seascapes/Landscapes can be viewed at posterscapecod.com while my Architectural work can be viewed at neelonstudio.com. Photography comes in many styles and techniques and each is beautiful in its' own right. For me, it is not about documentation as much as interpretation-capturing a familiar scene or still life in a different way. Capturing the mood, not the scene. Focusing on the form more than the object. In the end, I want my images to allow for contemplation and reflection. I have been working on a couple of new projects recently that I am looking forward to exhibiting and putting up on this website soon, so please check back. I am a Juried member of the Cambridge Arts Association as well as a member of the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, MA and the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. |
